Day to day, your focus will be to develop solutions and deliver advice which maintains structure gauge compliance. As a Track Gauging Engineer, you should have working knowledge of Track Design and Gauging standards and practices, along with CAD experience. You will need to have a good understanding of track surveying techniques, particularly with regard to tunnel gauging and laser scanning techniques. The successful candidate will need to be an experienced ClearRoute user, ideally with NR and LU vehicles. Civils, earthworks or geotechnical experience would be advantageous as part of this role includes supporting Infrastructure Protection works.
