Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Portfolio Analyst to join the IT team in Leatherhead, responsible for  supporting the delivery of a portfolio of change programmes and projects, ensuring alignment with both the Group IT and Business Unit Strategies, and providing subject matter expert support to IT project/programme managers, technical IT managers and business stakeholders. Also responsible for ensuring reporting and governance compliance, & will contribute to Portfolio performance reporting, project support & quality assessments.

 

Key Accountabilities will include:

 

To build strong relationships in IT & across business units, facilitating the adoption of agreed IT Portfolio methodologies
Track and report on project portfolio performance, providing a real-time, comprehensive, and prioritized view of all projects
Assist in the production of financial reporting/KPI’s for the Portfolio
Ensure all projects produce the required documentation, of appropriate quality, as they transition through the agreed stage gates of the project lifecycle
Ensure strong project governance routines (such as RAID management, communication framework, change control, benefit analysis etc.) are conducted to the agreed quality/timescales
 

We are looking for the successful person to be an effective communicator and influencer and have demonstrable experience in communicating and influencing technical IT resources responsible for designing & implementing change; and can do the same with non IT individuals who represent the business.

 

You will have worked successfully as a IT Portfolio Analyst (or similar) with expert knowledge of project management methodologies, and be an expert user of MS Project and MS Office toolset (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and  hold Prince2 and/or APMG Change Management Practitioner.
