We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Construction North East team on the regeneration of Lowfield Green in partnership with York Council, building 140 new homes – a mix of affordable and private sale two, three and four bedroom apartments, houses, and bungalows across a 100 week programme.
Key Accountabilities will include:
Develop, control and ensure delivery against the project budgets including profit, preliminaries and procurements
Develop and implement detailed programmes and schedules which allow accurate monitoring and reporting of progress
Implement all statutory regulatory and company requirements for managing Health and Safety
Secure and manage the appropriate resources to deliver the project / scheme effectively and efficiently in a professional manner to ensure successful delivery within project constraints
Ensure there is a successful and smooth handover of the project, including support to customer/ end user throughout the handover process
Establish a communications plan and agree accountabilities for team members.
We are looking for a qualified and professional Project Manager who has the specific and practical knowledge on Residential projects and who can successfully lead and develop a team. You will be a proven deliverer in achieving the highest standards of safety, health and environmental controls and end quality.
To be successful in the role you will be an effective communicator with a positive and engaging approach when supporting and educating the business.
