An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Assistant to join our team in Birmingham City Centre.
We are looking for someone with experience of procurement including tenders, buying and some understanding of contract formation. No previous experience of the railway industry is required. You will be working within an established team and additional training will be provided. You must possess excellent communication skills, be willing to hit the ground running and have a can do attitude.
Ideally based in Birmingham you must be prepared to travel the Virgin trains network when required and will at times be asked to travel to London. Initially you will report to the head of procurement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to make their mark within the team, develop their knowledge and progress within the business when ready.
