Payroll Adviser

Location: Bicester

Salary: up to £27,000 - dependent on experience

Closing Date: 10th February 2020

MTC currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Adviser to join our HR Service Centre team based in Bicester.

Thames Valley CRC and London CRC are one of 21 Community Rehabilitation Companies across England. The CRC is  owned by MTC was  created in 2014 to provide rehabilitation and offender management services following changes to Probation as a result of the Government’s Transforming Rehabilitation strategy.

 

What to expect from this role

 

You will support the Payroll Manager in delivering accurate, timely and compliant payrolls  providing payment to all employees including maintaining payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data within required timescales.  Always working to ensure the HR Service Centre team offers excellent customer service.

 

Responsibilities

 

Process, reconcile and maintain all three monthly payrolls.  Helping to ensure all deadlines are met and in line with all internal policies and procedures
Maintain accurate records to assist with monthly invoicing, reconciliations and both internal and external audits
Help to process End of Year & RTI submissions ensuring accuracy and within the required  deadline
Assist with the processing of Auto Enrolment through the HR and Payroll System
Be responsible for processing BACS payments in line with client schedules, ensuring that salaries and third party payments are paid accurately and on time.
Assisting with the timely administration of all pension schemes currently in use within the company.
Ensure all expenses are reconciled, paid and audited in adherence to current company policy.
To support with payroll projects in conjunction with the Payroll Manager.
 

What we need from you

 

To succeed in this role you will need to have previous experience working as a Payroll Adviser, PAYE knowledge covering all aspects of payroll processing which includes End of Year (EOY), Real Time Information (RTI) & Auto Enrolment.
