POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting directly into the Buildings and Fabrics Manager, the post holder will support the contract team in the provision of a high quality service. To ensure upkeep of designated areas by carrying out general and specific duties as directed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To liaise with IFM staff and management on the day to day running of the building the reporting of issues relating to operation and appearance.
Address any acute internal issues for example blocked drains, toilets, minor spillages, replacement of light bulbs and lamps.
Painting and decorating as agreed and directed by management.
Reporting of breakdowns/fault.
In addition, this role will be responsible for communicating on the status of work to the client and customer.
This role is on a rolling shift pattern on both days and nights. The successful candidate will be a shift pattern of 4 on - 4 off, 6 on - 4 off and 4 on - 6 off.

Demonstrable previous experience as a handy-man
Previous experience in a customer facing environment

Manual Handling ability
Painting/Decorating
Carpentry
Plumbing
Tiling
Able to work in a demanding and busy area
Computer knowledge - desirable
Basic knowledge of heating and air conditioning plant – desirable
Carpentry qualification - desirable
Painting & Decorating qualification – desirable
