To be instrumental in leading and implementing the company Quality Assurance Procedures and instructions with particular attention to the areas of responsibility listed on the documents.

Working to Planned Preventative & Reactive maintenance regimes.
The repair and servicing of mechanical & electrical (M&E) equipment, PPM & reactive.
Managing priorities within contract constraints.
Working within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve set goals
To repair and maintain building fabric.
Provision of job feedback information to help desk and senior engineer.
Responding to customer needs and building relationships in a professional manner.
Participation in standby rota for emergency calls outside normal working hours.
To work overtime as and when required including nights & weekends
Providing information for pricing of M&E works where applicable, for minor projects and maintenance.
HSE management in accordance with our quality management system and all legal and statutory requirements.
Installing and commissioning new plant & equipment
The post holder will be expected to undertake either AP or CP duties.
Be aware of the business continuity plan for the part of the business you work in.
Confidence to work frequently at height following all necessary H&S procedures this requires a good level of fitness to access the required areas by ladders
Writing and following risk & method statements is required daily
Follow all company procedures including all company H&S requirements and the use of computer equipment for processing work task information
Be able to complete electrical installations to the latest regulations within an office and factory environment
Completion of required documentation as specified in relevant standards & regulations
Use competently PDAs/mobile phones to receive and record work information including hours worked on each work request
To assist all trades within the facility and complete mechanical repairs when required with the correct supervision and training
Perform maintenance on numerous client sites as workload demands
Ensure all work is undertaken within the job holder’s own level of demonstrated competence
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
At least 5 year’s relevant experience in the discipline area
Appreciation of industry safety standards and procedures
Previous experience of fault finding on equipment within an industrial environment. This will require experience of boilers, water pumps and hot water heaters
Must have been a registered Apprentice or undergone some equivalent method of training and have had adequate practical training in plumbing installation work.
Must have obtained an NVQ Level 3 in plumbeing installation work (or approved equivalent).
IOSH/NEBOSH or other health and safety qualification
Regards personal and plant safety as priority
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and as an individual
Ability to read schematic and circuit diagrams
Ability to record work accurately on work sheets and computer based systems.
Willingness to undertake further training
Willingness and ability to participate in task audits/near miss reporting/plant audits etc.
Takes responsibilities for own actions
Self managed engineer to ensure targets are achieved.
Experience of General Building Management Systems.
Risk Assessment and Method Statement trained.
Ability to diagnose and rectify faults on highly complex plant and equipment.
Ability to plan and organise a broad range of complex activities and programmes and work unsupervised.
Relevant post apprenticeship experience.
Experience of working on a wide range of highly complex mechanical and electrical plant undertaking planned maintenance and repairs.
Able to work under pressure.
Able to carry tools and equipment by hand up to 20kg.
Able to ascend/descend vertical access equipment.
Able to work at height.
Committed to the delivery of excellent customer service.
Must be flexible regarding working hours.
Must be available to join a call out rota if required.
Must hold a full UK driving licence.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Successful applicant must complete an enhanced DBS security check
