Perform mechanical maintenance to both plant and building equipment throughout a number of sites; specifically plumbing services to ensure the operation of all water systems on site. 2 x Vacancies for the Swansea & Newport sides of Cardiff.

Perform general plumbing and drainage services to both plant equipment and building equipment.
Provide plumbing services to ensure the operation of all the water systems on site. This includes hot and cold water supplies and drainage.
Provide assistance to other maintenance personnel as and when required.
Confidence to work frequently at height following all necessary health and safety procedures this requires a good level of fitness to access the required areas by ladders.
Writing and following risk and method statements is required on a daily basis.
Follow all company procedures including following all company health and safety requirements and the use of computer equipment for processing work task information.
Completion of required documentation as specified in relevant standards and regulations.
Use competently computers and mobile phones to receive and record work information including hours worked on each work request.
Assist all trades within the facility and through the correct training be able to complete tasks away from your core mechanical skills.
Perform maintenance on numerous sites as workload demands.
Ensure that all work is undertaken within the job holders own level of demonstrated competence.
Adhoc duties as required by your management team.
Must have a time served pipefitter/plumbing apprenticeship and or relevant qualifications.
An electrical qualification is desirable.
A gas qualification would be beneficial.
Fault finding abilities are essential.
Ability to read schematic and circuit diagrams.
Good communication skills and the ability to work within a team.
Confident, enthusiastic and pro-active.
Experience of working within a customer focused environment.
Able to do the job right and do it right first time, within a pre-determined timescale.
Willingness to undertake further training.
Ability to provide a schedule of works for identified additional/remedial works.
Writing and following risk and method statements as required on a daily basis.
Good knowledge of building Statutory Compliance.
Must hold a full UK drivers license.
Ability to record work accurately on work sheets and computer based systems.
Good communication skills and the ability to work within a team.
Experience of working within a customer focused environment.
Wanting to achieve success, for his or her self, the business and the customer.
Flexible approach to work and working hours (subject to the EU Working Time Directive).
Presented in a clean and tidy manner to represent the company, in the most professional manner possible, utilising the uniform and PPE issued.
Responsible for self and others to maintain a safe working environment as per the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) and subsequent UK and EU amendments.
HSE management in accordance with our (Interserve) Quality Management System and all legal and statutory requirements.
Provide excellent customer service to building occupants, ensuring they are made aware of work order progress in a timely manner.
