POSITION OVERVIEW
To operate within a site based maintenance team, carrying out PPM and Reactive works to Building Services Systems within the Hospital.  The job is shift based, working a rotating 24/7 “European style” shift system.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor and control operation of Building Critical Systems
Carry out PPM & Reactive maintenance to all client assets.
Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order at all times
Escort and monitor specialist subcontractors
To operate within a Permit to Work System in accordance with Interserve’s QHSE procedures
To assist with routine quality assurance checks on work activities, record keeping and general housekeeping
Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the above plant
Ensure a professional image of Interserve FM is presented to clients and visitors
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Formally trained in Mechanical plant, and the holder of relevant City & Guilds or NVQ qualifications
General all round knowledge of Heating & Ventilation / Air Conditioning and building support systems and their methods of control
Knowledge of BMS and electrical systems would be an advantage
Good Mechanical knowledge
Good communication skills
Committed to the delivery of excellent customer service
Calm manner, able to work under pressure
Able to make sound decisions when needed
Able to ascend and descend vertical access equipment
Able to work at heights
A team player, able to work with Interserve Services and clients staff of all levels
