We currently have a new opportunity for a Legal Contracts Manager to join our Legal team in Leatherhead.
Reporting to the Legal Director, you will support the our in-house Legal team in compliance matters and in other general legal issues, this will include:
Monitor the GDPR inbox and respond to requests from data subjects.
Assist the GDPR privacy team in investigating, carrying out an initial risk assessment of and recording personal data incidents, as well as review and negotiate client variations.
Update and maintain the GDPR data asset register as and when any new processes / changes to processes are notified to the GDPR privacy team.
Review and comment on a range of documents including short leases and licenses, collateral warranties and consultants’ appointments.
Help to produce quarterly legal and compliance ‘dashboards’ for the Legal team and carry out legal research where required.
Assist in managing county court claims and statutory demands.
Arrange the execution of documents where appropriate.
We are looking for you will have worked in a similar role and already have a breadth or experience, a solid understanding of non-contentious construction law and an interest in regulatory matters including the GDPR.
To be successful in the role you will be a professional and effective communicator with a commercial, proactive, confident and pragmatic approach.
