Job Description

We have a new opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to work with our Home Counties Construction Team in Luton & Basingstoke, primarily to provide comprehensive and professional guidance and support to the MD, Business Unit Director, Leadership teams and employees.


This will be a varied role but key areas of focus will be to support the Construction People plan and lead the process and activities to ensure that the talent, retention and growth objectives are delivered.


There will be a requirement to develop an excellent understanding of the business needs through strong interaction across the Home Counties Construction business.


We are looking for you to have experience of working in a complex and demanding environment and be able to challenge the status quo and drive change in a constructive and pragmatic manner.


Alongside this you will also be:

An excellent communicator capable of building relationships across the business which will promote and encourage the integration of HR policies, procedures and best practices.
A strong HR generalist with knowledge to challenge and interpret policies and procedures and their implementation by management teams.
Experienced in providing both remote and face to face advice, guidance and direction.
Skilled and confident in taking the lead on projects including Employee Relations matters, reward and change management programmes.
CIPD qualified.

This role can be based out of either our Luton or Basingstoke office and will require travel to both offices and sites across the North and South Home Counties.
