We are looking for a passionate, proactive and enthusiastic finance professional to join our Finance team as a Financial Reporting Manager. This is a hugely diverse role that offers fantastic opportunities for you to lead a team and support a specific Business Unit in the management and analysis of their: monthly/quarterly reporting, strategy and day to day commercial activities.

 

The successful professional will ensure effective controls, processes, information systems and results are practiced, achieved and recorded to support and shape the direction of this key business area.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Financial Planning and Control for a £100m business unit.

Ensure the delivery of an effective financial management service providing appropriate financial information for decision making and control, including:
annual budget & strategic plans;
quarterly/monthly forecasts;
quarterly & monthly management information
Prepare quarterly forecast and annual budgets
Ensure accounting and control systems are appropriate to the requirements of the market group and are generating management information suitable for effective decision making.
Lead outsource finance managed services for JV contract
 
2. Cash Management

Report, monitor and forecast on cash

Cash reporting to commercial teams
 

3. Statutory Accounting

Manage year end statutory accounting process for three entities
Act as focal point for audit queries working closely with external auditors
 
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with a solid track record of analysing numbers and trends within a low value high volume business. They will have the ability to communicate with, and make an impact on, all level employees from junior to executive by explaining financial concepts clearly and effectively. They will be a strong people manager, with a conscientious and detail-oriented approach to their work.
