Role Details
Normal working Hours: Operating in a rotating shift pattern you will work 08:00 – 16:00 Week 1 and 12:00 – 20:00 Week 2. You will also be required to work 1 weekend in every 5 for which 2 days off in the week will be given.

Location: Yorkshire Water Head Office, Halifax Road, Bradford, BD6 2SZ

Hours Per Week: 37.5

What will this role involve?
Day to day you will be speaking with customers who have experienced a problem such as waste water flooding to their homes and gardens or problems related to our activities on the sewerage network. You will be responsible for driving a positive outcome for the customer and ensuring their journey is seamless and kept to a minimum. To do this you will work closely with the operational owners across the business to ensure a positive outcome and that the customer is completely satisfied.

You will be expected to maintain regular contact to keep your customer fully informed through to resolution, checking along the way that they are happy with the progress of the resolution and if any further work is required.

When customers are impacted by sewage flooding it can be extremely distressing so a key part of the role is being empathetic to the customers’ needs and understanding how to handle difficult conversations at times.
