At Virgin Trains we're all about delivering the Ideal Customer Experience. To do that, we need great people with the highest level of expertise and knowledge when it comes to customers, their expectations of Virgin Trains, and their expectations of the railway. Your job, simply put, will be to exceed these expectations each and every day!
You will carry out daily duties as assigned by your Service Manager or Team Leader, including at seat service in First Class, managing the Standard Class Trolley and offering guidance during railway disruption. Throughout, you'll need to work with others, maintain a safe environment, and keep up-to-date with our products and services.
To help you along the way, you will be supported with a 12 month development programme and a mentor from the Talent Academy.
Successful completion of this programme will result in an accredited Level 2 Certificate from Virgin in the Customer Experience. You will then undergo a final assessment with an independent organisation, and successfully passing this assessment will certify you as a qualified Customer Service Practitioner against national standards set by the retail and hospitality industries. Achieving these certificates will be your passport to permanent employment within the company.
If successful with your application, you will be placed in our Talent Bank and offered a position as and when they arise.
