The CRM Exec sits within the Marketing and Commercial Team, reporting directly to the CRM Manager.
The key purpose of this role is supporting the delivery of the Virgin Trains CRM strategy, predominantly through the medium of email marketing. There is a key commercial focus to the job, with a need to drive incremental revenue and to exceed year-on-year benchmarks across all key metrics.
Essentials of the Job are:
Support the execution of the CRM strategy to meet KPIs, revenue targets and improvements in customer satisfaction. Monitor CRM performance metrics and identify areas to optimize future performance.
Assist the end-to-end delivery of CRM campaigns & programs: including planning, briefing, implementation and post campaign analysis.
Input into broader CRM strategy including, but not limited to, the testing strategy.
Build productive working relationships with key stakeholders within the Virgin Trains organisation and external agencies.
Appraise creative and design work constructively to produce effective communications that adhere to the Virgin Trains brand guidelines.
Work with Data Analysts and other external suppliers to define and understand customer segments that guide content and contact strategies to maximise ROI.
Assist with the management of the CRM budget: ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within pre-agreed cost estimates.
Build close working relationships with internal stakeholders to assess and leverage strategic and tactical revenue driving opportunities.
Assist with ad-hoc and planned CRM admin tasks.
You'll be able to provide working examples of a time where you've bought a fresh perspective and approach to improving efficiency in email campaigns.
You will have a commercially focused mind and be familiar with analytical tools, such as Google Analytics, to help drive insight and exceed year-on-year performance.
You'll get a buzz out of finding new ways of looking at issues and problems, generating innovative or radically new ideas and not being afraid to voice your opinion.
This individual will be responsible for supporting the CRM campaign strategy, ensuring Virgin Trains provides a user-centric, engaging experience for our customers, whilst meeting goals and KPIs.
This individual will also be working closely and collaboratively with a variety of cross-functional teams and suppliers, so good communication skills and stakeholder management are essential.
