Catering Assistant
We are recruiting for both full time and part time catering assistants. You’ll be paid a salary based on the UK Living Wage Foundation hourly rate of £9.00 per hour and excellent terms & conditions. Working in our Parks Catering Team you’ll have the opportunity  to make a difference to someone’s day, every day and come to work in some of the city’s most beautiful parks.

With six cafés & kiosks across the city, we not only provide food and drink to the thousands of visitors to our parks every year but also generate income to help fund the cost of maintaining Bristol’s parks and green spaces.

We are focussed on increasing the income from our Parks Catering service and improving the experience customers can expect when they visit our cafes or kiosks. This won’t be possible without having a great team of people.

Among the qualities we look for in our Catering Assistants are a positive attitude, flexibility, be a team player, be calm and organised and thrive on providing great customer service.

You’ve probably already guessed that customer service is one of our priorities but ideally you’ll also need:

Experience of working in a catering environment, ideally in a visitor attraction or leisure environment.
Experience of preparing and serving food and drinks, barista experience would be useful.
Knowledge of food safety and health & safety.
Handling cash and taking card payments.
You’ll be working various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays on a rota. You'll be based at either our Ashton Court or Blaise Cafe and at times, may be expected to work at any of our cafes and kiosks.
