Job Description

We have an opportunity for a BIM Project Leader to plan, co-ordinate and manage all activities related to the co-ordination and production of the necessary pre-fabrication drawings to ensure that quality, scope, price and programme for these activities are achieved successfully.

 

SES Engineering Services (SES) is the UK’s pre-eminent design-led Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) provider, specialising in the design and installation of building services and infrastructure solutions covering all aspects of M&E; always driving for excellence and innovation.

 

Key Accountabilities will include:

 

Manage resources, programmes, erection specifications and project Prism strategies to deliver high quality BIM output at fabrication level on time and within budget
Provide advice on the co-ordination and design for manufacture during concept and design development stages
Work with the Digital Engineering Operations Director, Prism BIM OPS Manager and BIM Systems manager to implement software and hardware strategies efficiently and deliver continuous improvements
Check all BIM output for compliance with the BIM scope agreed, to ensure a cost effective, efficient, clash free installation of services on site
 

We are looking for you to be a qualified BIM professional with  an in depth knowledge of REVIT,  Autodesk Fabrication and Navisworks You will also have a thorough understanding of PRISM prefabrication requirements with the ability to offer concept solutions and an awareness of relevant British Standards, Building Regulations and BSRIA guidance.

 

To be successful in the role you will be an effective communicator with the ability to work alone and lead a team and to set strategy for project coordination and prefabrication.
