Assistant Engineer (Signalling)

 

Transport for London (TfL) Engineers are always looking forward. Join us in one of our Central Engineering, Transport System Engineering or Infrastructure Engineering teams and, as well as maintaining legacy assets, you’ll deliver new systems and solutions. Day-to-day, you will provide technical analysis and diagnostics within your field of expertise, as well as assisting with the production of designs, drawings, calculations and on-going continuous improvement of assets to ensure a reliable and safe experience for customers.

 

You will have a good understanding of the fundamentals of Railway Signalling engineering and its practical application to high value programmes. You will provide your knowledge across the signalling spectrum, from Line Upgrades to Asset Strategy Development, you will input and inform on a range of activities from initial specification, right through to the disposal of legacy signalling systems.
