We’re looking for an Admin Specialist to join our fun & friendly team at our Milton Keynes Customer Service Centre. You will be responsible for providing heartfelt service in dealing with membership enquiries from new, existing and previous members and supporting members & staff via incoming & outgoing telephone calls, handovers and email communication.

Your job:

Reporting to the Assistant Customer Service Centre Manager, the responsibilities of the Admin Specialist include:

Giving the best possible service to members, prospective members and club staff, helping to create a warm, friendly and welcoming experience for all enquiries and complaints.
Dealing with current member enquiries and requests, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in any administrative follow up actions.
Processing all administrative actions by set deadlines. Complete all priority handovers / tasks and respond to all correspondence within 24 hours.
Processing a wide range of member administration request, including handovers, member web requests, weekly and monthly task lists and other ad hoc requests.
Ensuring when processing administrative tasks that all possible impacted departments within the business are taken into consideration such as Finance & Corporate.
Ensuring the smooth and professional handling of outbound and inbound calls at all times.
Helping to ensure lost calls in the Service Centre are kept within or under target by proactively supporting with the handling of incoming service calls and emails where required.
Effectively supporting club staff via incoming admin calls, ensuring that lost calls on the admin line are kept within or under target.
Your commitment:

Based in our Milton Keynes Customer Service Centre, this is a permanent full time role. Working hours are 9am-6pm Monday-Friday; flexibility is required to suit the needs of the business and this may change slightly during peak times.

To be successful as a Admin Specialist, you’ll also have/be:

Extremely strong interpersonal abilities & great communication skills at all levels, with the ability to show empathy & understanding
Comfortable working within a robust framework of policies & administrative processes, but also comfortable making alternative suggestions outside of this when it’s right to
Great time management skills & a self-start attitude
The ability to remain calm in high pressured situations and think on your feet
Excellent administration and organisation skills and proficient in using a computer, including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook, along with reporting capabilities
