We currently have a requirement for an Accounts Assistant to join our Group Finance team in Leatherhead to support a range of activities within the central finance team.
Key accountabilities will include:
Raise and distribute sales ledger invoices and inter-company invoices as requested
Link all invoices and requests on Intuita
Update cash receipts summary
Distribute outstanding debtor list to the business on a daily basis
Reconcile the Sales Ledger to General Ledger at accounting period end
Manage queries from customers and site surveyors
Provide analysis on VAT rates charged on invoices
Assist with cost analysis for the tax cube
We are looking for you to have a basic knowledge of bookkeeping, general ledger entries and internal control procedures. Experience in a sales ledger role and a basic knowledge of VAT would be an advantage.
To be successful in the role you will have an attention to detail, good communication skills as well as be a team player with a ‘can do’ attitude and desire for continuous improvement.
